I'll continue to monitor comments, though much less often.  Commentators who do not follow the comment policy will be banned.

Admin: "In Other News" (updated)

From now on, my "In Other News" posts will be posted on my blog.  The main advantage: you can now comment on these news items as well.

There are still a few problems to work out.  I'll continue tinkering with it, and will be glad for any comments or suggestions.

Updated: I managed to separate the two feeds: one for the regular blog posts and one for the "in other news" posts.   However, I don't see a way to do this for the GoogleGroups email subscribers.

Admin: New comment system

I've had it with IntenseDebate. I installed Disqus, and will see how it goes in the next few days.

I imported the IntenseDebate comments, but it might take some time before they (hopefully) show up.

Admin: IntenseDebate problems

Once again, IntenseDebate, my comment system, is acting up. This includes comments disappearing, or appearing only when the posts are viewed from the comment link.

I'm debating what to do about this. Meanwhile, I have notified IntenseDebate and am waiting for their fix. Please let me know if you see any problems.

Admin: Feed Issues

For the past week, my 'In Other News' feed was not updating properly. I did not realize this, and continued posting news stories as usual. It's now back up and running.
